The Sprott Professional MBA program is designed for working professionals with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience who wish to continue in their careers while completing their MBA. With courses delivered every other weekend, students are able to balance work and life demands with their commitment to achieve their goals.

The program features an integrated set of courses focusing on strategic management concepts and complex decision making, through a variety of approaches and techniques that include case studies and client-based projects. Course offerings reflect the current needs of organizations and market trends. Concentration choices are not offered within the Professional MBA program.

Program Structure

The Professional MBA is cohort based and structured in an intensive executive format over 16 months. Courses are delivered on every second Friday and Saturday allowing time for team projects and coursework.

Graduates of the Professional MBA will possess integrated knowledge, tools and skills to advance to management roles across various sectors, including private, public, not-for-profit and NGOs.

Winter or Spring/Summer admission is not offered at this time.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis and candidates are encouraged to submit complete applications prior the application deadline. Applications will only be considered after the application deadline should spaces remain.

Application Deadline: International Students

Fall 2019: Apply by March 1, 2019

International students are admitted only once per year to begin studies each September.

Only completed applications will be considered. All documents must be received by the application deadline.

International candidates are encouraged to submit their applications early enough to allow sufficient time to secure Student Visas if offered admission.

Admissions Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum B average or equivalent,
  • Two professional letters of recommendations
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience
  • In lieu of the GMAT, candidates are required to complete a series of self-paced, online modules through and meet the minimum criteria in order to be considered for admission.

Note: Professional experience is defined as positions which include managing or supervising team members and may include responsibility of a large portion of a project life-cycle; managing time, budget and resources; leading a team in developing needs assessments, processes, and delivery options; strategic and financial planning; or collaboration with key stakeholders.
