Ehsan Dabiran, a PhD candidate at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, specializes in the emerging realm of virtual influencers and the multifaceted world of social media. He is advancing his research under the co-supervision of Dr. Samira Farivar and Dr. Gerald Grant. Ehsan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and an MBA from Amirkabir University of Technology. Prior to his doctoral pursuits, he had industry experience as a data analyst and has taken on various marketing research projects. Ehsan’s contributions to academia include his research presented at ECIS in 2022 and 2023, and he further contributes to the educational community as an instructor for BUSI 1401: Foundations of Information Systems.
