What to Expect
Community Net Night is about conversation and connection — not formal recruiting. Enjoy light refreshments in a relaxed setting while connecting with members of the Sprott community.
We’ll also celebrate the achievements and contributions of our community through the Sprott Alumni Awards and Sprott Industry Partner Impact Award.

Is this a career fair or recruitment event?
No. Community Net Night is a networking and community-building event. While you may meet folks from a variety of industries and backgrounds, the purpose of the evening is to create opportunities for conversation, connection and relationship building.
Do I need networking experience to attend?
Not at all. The event is designed to provide an approachable environment for both experienced networkers and those who are newer to professional networking.
What should I wear?
Business casual or professional attire is appropriate. Most importantly, wear something in which you feel comfortable participating in a professional networking environment.
Who will I meet?
Attendees will include students, alumni, faculty, staff and industry partners from across the Sprott community.
Will refreshments be provided?
Yes. Light refreshments will be available during the evening.
Where is the event being held?
The event will take place at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa.
Additional arrival and event logistics will be shared with registered attendees closer to the event.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available at the Canadian Museum of Nature, with additional public parking options available nearby.
