Purpose of the Awards

The Sprott School of Business Industry Awards recognize and celebrate organizations that demonstrate continued collaboration with the School by:

Each award and award recipient reflects Sprott’s aspiration, calling, values, and strategic priorities.

Award Categories

1. Sprott School of Business Student Champion Award

Recognizing the partners who invest in the next generation

Awarded to an industry partner (formal or informal) that has made an exceptional and sustained commitment to creating meaningful learning and growth opportunities for Sprott students and graduates through experiential and employment pathways, and opening their organization and their experience to students in ways no classroom can replicate.

2. Sprott School of Business Knowledge Collaboration Award

Recognizing the partners who bring real problems and help build real answers

Awarded to an industry partner (formal or informal) that has engaged most meaningfully with Sprott’s intellectual and academic community – contributing genuine organizational challenges, participating in applied inquiry, and co-creating knowledge, insights, or solutions with practical value, through applied research, consulting or capstone projects, case development, innovation challenges, or executive education content development.

3. Sprott School of Business Partner Impact Award

Recognizing the partners to left a positive impact in the broader community, sector, or economy.

Awarded to an industry partner (formal or informal) that worked collaboratively with the School producing outcomes that were felt beyond either organization – in communities, in sectors, and in the economy – through impactful initiatives involving students and/or faculty.
