Sprott Stream Declaration Form

Submit this form to the Sprott Undergraduate Student Services Office to declare a Stream(s). Requests must be submitted after successfully completing a minimum of 15.5 credits. If submitting this request in your last term of registration please make note of the following deadlines:

• For Spring graduation, requests must be submitted by April 15 at 4:00 p.m.
• For Fall graduation, requests must be submitted by October 1 at 4:00 p.m.
• For Winter graduation, requests must be submitted by January 15 at 4:00 p.m.

SPROTT STREAM REQUIREMENTS

Note that any courses completed toward the fulfilment of a Stream offered by the Sprott School of Business cannot be counted toward the fulfilment of an additional Stream(s) or toward any Concentration offered by the Sprott School of Business.

When a completed course sits in both a Stream and a Concentration requirement, the default allocation will be the Concentration. Note that It is possible to complete a Stream and a Concentration provided that courses are not double counted. If your intention is to withdraw from a Concentration to complete a Stream(s), you must consult with a Sprott Program Advisor prior to completing the steps to request a Change of Program Elements.    

Example: A student who has completed BUSI 3119 (Business and Environmental Sustainability) may use this course towards the Stream in Sustainability OR towards the Concentration in Management as a concentration elective. The default allocation of the course will be towards the Concentration; however, a student may also:

• complete both the Concentration in Management and the Stream in Sustainability by completing a different Concentration elective to bump BUSI 3119 from the Concentration to the Stream.

OR

• withdraw from the Concentration in Management.
