Adam Abdulrahman
Area of Research: Finance
Adam’s research interests revolve around all aspects of stock markets. His current main research of focus will be examining the common corporate action of stock splits through understanding stock split cycles, why firms with low share prices split their stocks, and ‘serial splitters.’
Stock split cycles will be examined to determine the variances in stock split volume between periods. Furthermore, firms who have conducted many splits (serial splitters) will have their short- and long-run performances analyzed and compared with those of first-time and infrequent stock splitters.
