Sprott School of Business welcomes new faculty members

The Sprott School of Business at Carleton University is pleased to welcome Aron Darmody and Emily Jones Joanisse as the newest members of its faculty.

Aron Darmody, Associate Professor, Marketing

Aron is coming from Suffolk University in Boston to join Sprott. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork in Ireland, a Master of Marketing from Dublin City University in Ireland, and a PhD in Marketing from York University’s Schulich School of Business. His research projects have contributed to the areas of retailing and identity; productive consumption and consumers; and, marketing practices. His work has also been cited over 1200 times.

Emily Jones Joanisse, Instructor, Project-Based Experiential Learning

Emily is a graduate of Carleton University’s Bachelor of Computer Science program and graduated from Sprott’s MBA program in 2013. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Management at the School. Emily is also the CEO and co-founder of Connected Canadians, a non-profit organization that promotes digital literacy skills among seniors.
