Canada 150 Research Chairs
Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business invites international scholars based outside of Canada to submit expressions of interest for the new Canada 150 Research Chairs Program. In celebration of its 150th anniversary, the Government of Canada has created this program to attract top-tiered scholars and researchers to Canadian universities.
Please consult the call announcement of the Carleton University Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) for more information and institutional guidelines regarding the submission of expressions of interest.
The program will award between 15-35 non-renewable chairs for seven years across the country of one of two potential award values: $350,000 per year or $1 million per year.
We encourage candidates to demonstrate the following in their Expressions of Interest:
- How the candidate fulfills the selection criteria including equity and diversity considerations of the Canada 150 Research Chairs program.
- How the candidate’s expertise and research program aligns with the Sprott School of Business Mission and Vision and three core strengths:
- International Focus
- Innovation
- Responsible Management
