Sprott Student Consulting Group

Sprott Student Consulting Group Mission

To learn management and leadership through the practical application of research and theory to the benefit of our partner organizations.

Who is the Sprott Student Consulting Group?

We are dedicated and motivated undergraduate and MBA students who take on the roles of junior consultants who share a common goal of making a difference. Together, we work in interdisciplinary teams to apply our knowledge and skills in areas that accommodate our partner organization’s needs.

What SSCG does

Working as consultants with real organizations, SSCG addresses business needs and opportunities such as market expansion, business planning, customer growth, and crisis management & recovery.

Why join SSCG?

SSCG enables students to acquire practical experience, expand their professional networks, enhance their management and leadership skills, and obtain employability skills for their careers, while giving back to the community. SSCG members are ambitious, dedicated and internally motivated.

2023 Student Testimonials

As a member of the Sprott Student Consulting Group, I had the privilege of collaborating with business clients to address their unique challenges. My experience included undertaking corporate and project roles and then leading the organization as the Executive Director, which enabled me to forge connections both locally and globally. Under the mentorship of the Academic Director, I gained insights I wouldn’t have in a standard classroom. At its heart, SSCG is about serving the community while shaping the next generation of leaders. There’s no better opportunity for leadership and professional growth for students than SSCG.
– Angus Lau, Sprott Student, SSCG Executive Director
