Upgrade to an MBA on a Fast Track

The Sprott Accelerated MBA is specifically designed for individuals who have completed a four-year business degree at a Canadian university within the last five years. Qualified applicants benefit from advanced standing in Sprott’s MBA program and a shorter path to graduation, based on work completed at the undergraduate level.

Sprott Accelerated MBA Program

• Enhance your skills and career options by building on your undergraduate education with courses in complementary areas of interest.
• The Sprott MBA Internship allows recent graduates to gain relevant work experience and build their network while completing the MBA in just one year.
• Applicants with more than two years of relevant professional experience are exempt from the internship and can finish their MBA in as little as eight months.

How it works:

• Students in the Sprott MBA Accelerated Stream are required to complete 6.0 credits (with internship) to graduate compared to 8.5 credits in the regular MBA stream.
• Students will be exempted from several MBA core courses based on previous coursework. Specific course requirements will depend on courses completed in your undergraduate program and grades earned in these courses.

Eligibility:

In addition to the regular Sprott MBA admission requirements, applicants to the Accelerated MBA must meet the following criteria:

• Completed, in the past five years, a four-year bachelor’s degree in business (e.g. BCom, BBA, BHA) from a recognized Canadian university, or equivalent, and;
• A minimum overall average of B+.
• Applicants with admissions averages of B+ or higher may request a GMAT Waiver with their application for consideration by the admissions team.
  • Please note that presenting the required overall average does not guarantee a waiver, and all waiver considerations are up to the discretion of our admissions team.

Application Deadline

Domestic Students

Apply no later than May 1 for September entry.
