Mike is the former Director of Decision Support Technology for the Employment Support Institute in Richmond, VA. He has years of consulting experience in the software design and development domain. He has taught at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand as well as at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Manitoba. In addition, he has taught software design and development courses to information systems professionals at the United States Department of Defense in Alexandria, VA and at the United States Army Information Systems Software Development Center in Petersburg, VA.
Mike’s primary research interests are in computer mediated communication. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, Group Decision and Negotiation among others.
