Teagan Dubé
MSc Candidate
- Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing (Sprott School of Business at Carleton University)
Area of Research: Marketing
Broadly, my personal research interests include consumer culture theory, marketing strategy, branding, consumer engagement, and customer relationships.
Currently, I am conducting research on emotions, digital consumer communities, fandom culture, consumer wellbeing, and pop culture consumption. I am most passionate about understanding consumers’ lived experiences, perceptions, emotions and meaning-making processes associated with such consumption practices. I am also invested in studying how socio-cultural, historical, and political forces construct modern consumer culture, create meanings, and ultimately shape human life. Through my work I hope to contribute to contemporary scholarly discourse on consumer culture, wellbeing, emotions and marketing dynamics.
