Lina Salama, MAcc/23
CPA Honour Roll Recipient
“The Carleton MAcc program helped me to develop strong case writing skills—the most crucial skill for the CFE and an important transferrable skill for my professional career. Every instructor is an expert in their field, which meant that I was able to leverage their expertise to increase my knowledge. Throughout the program, I received valuable study and exam preparation advice that helped me feel more confident going into the exam.”
Karissa Lapierre, MAcc/23
“This experience allowed me to grow and build my accounting knowledge in such a productive way. I have created relationships I will take with me the rest of my life and I truly did go into the CFE feeling as though nothing could have prepared me better. I’m glad this program exists and appreciate all the work Emily Gray and all the other professors put into making it what it is. I will forever suggest to anyone who asks to do the MAcc at Carleton.”
Be Part of the MAcc Community
Our intentionally capped program fosters close connections among Master of Accounting students, faculty and alumni. The MAcc Society enhances the student experience by facilitating social, networking and other events.
Build Case Writing Confidence
Courses prioritize case writing competencies to prepare you for the CFE. You will receive extensive feedback and have several of your cases marked by professional exam markers.
Build an integral professional network
Graduate with work experience through the MAcc internship (14-week minimum) experience in the private, public or not-for-profit sector. This may also be credited towards CPA Ontario’s 30-month practical work experience requirement.
