CPA Pathway Changes: What Every Accounting Student Needs to Know

Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Nicol Building atrium on ground floor. People sitting at tables and interacting. Large media screen next to a large winding staircarse leading up to third level. Sunlight from skylight shining down on open atrium below.

This is the first public information session in Ottawa on CPA Ontario’s upcoming education pathway changes, and it’s open to all accounting students in the city!

The session will be led by Sprott School of Business faculty with deep involvement in CPA education, including experience as CFE markers, case authors, and participation in CPA Ontario consultations on the new education model. Their perspectives will help you understand what’s changing, why it matters, and how it could affect your own pathway toward the CPA designation.

Whether you’re in the middle of your degree or planning your graduate studies, this session will give you clear, practical insights to help you move forward with confidence. There will also be time for Q&A, so you can raise your own questions, followed by an opportunity to connect with peers over refreshments.
