Academic Advising

The Sprott Academic Advising team is located in the Sprott Undergraduate Student Services Office in 3014 Nicol Building. Our team of Program Advisors, your Student Success Officer, and the Sprott Undergraduate Administrator can work with you to support your seamless progression to graduation.

Your Sprott Undergraduate Program Advisors can work with you to develop a strong program progression plan and relevant strategies for success. We are here to help guide you in the right direction!

Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1:00 p.m.)

Drop In Advising

Sprott Undergraduate Program Advisors see students on a first-come, first-served drop-in basis, four days a week. Students have the option of visiting the Sprott Undergraduate Services Office in person, or join our virtual drop-in through Zoom. Please note that wait times for the Zoom drop-in may be long, and we may not see all students who join the meeting.

Sprott Undergradute Student Success Officer

Your Sprott Undergraduate Student Success Officer works collaboratively with you and other on-campus centralized student services offices to help advocate for your needs as a Sprott degree student. Reach out to your Student Success Officer to talk about your strategies for success; balancing academics, extra-curriculars, and work; if you need assistance in goal planning; for support navigating challenges; or just to talk about opportunities to enhance your BCom or BIB degree.
