Requirements & Continuation

Please note that students are required to earn C- (60-62%) in each course in order for it to count towards the program requirements. Students who earn lower than C- in any specific course will be required to repeat it prior to graduation.

Normal completion of the program is within two calendar years after the date of initial registration; however, exceptions may be considered to accommodate students’ unique circumstances and progression.

Course Selection & Advising

To help students plan and manage registration, the Sprott Program Advisors have created a guide to understand course access and registration eligibility, called the BUSI Course Priority Access list.

Sprott releases registration access to students in stages, which we have labeled Priority One and Priority Two. “Priority One” access happens as soon as a student’s time ticket opens – they can register for the course right away. Access for students listed in the “Priority Two” column is released a few weeks after the time ticket registration period. This year it will open on Thursday, August 1 at 4:30 p.m.

PBDA Course Priority Access list – Updated September 26, 2024

If you do not have Priority One registration, you must wait until your listed Priority opens before attempting to register for the course. If you submit an override request asking for access before your Priority opens, the override request will be denied. There are no exceptions to BUSI course priority access, and no overrides will be approved for priority access reasons.

If the course you are attempting to register for is full when your priority access opens, please try the following:
