MBA Dates, Deadlines, and Policies

Sprott MBA courses are offered in a six and 12-week pattern, as outlined below.

MBA Courses are offered in the following patterns:

• 6 week courses [0.25 credits] are offered over two half-terms
• 12 week courses [0.5 credit] run for the fall term and winter term. With a break during exam week (there are no MBA classes, but papers and assignments may be due and some non-Sprott courses may have classes).

Fall term (September – December):

• F1: The first six weeks of the fall term (September – October),
• F1:  Exam week (there are no MBA classes, but papers and assignments may be due and some non-Sprott courses may have classes).
• Fall Break (no classes or exams)
• F2: The second six weeks of the fall term (November– December)
• F2 Exam week

Winter term (January – April)

• W1: The first six weeks of the winter term (January – February)
• Winter Break (no classes or exams)
• W1 Exam week (there are no MBA classes, but papers and assignments may be due and some non-Sprott courses may have classes).
• W2: The second six weeks of the winter term (March – April).
• W2 Exam week (there are no MBA classes, but papers and assignments may be due and some non-Sprott courses may have classes).

Summer term (May – August)

• Full-time students must register for the Internship (BUSI 5999) unless they have an approved exemption
• Some six week sessions may be offered, usually from May – June and July to August (S1 and S2)

Fall 2026

Exams and class schedules can vary for non-MBA courses and non-MBA electives.
