Vijay Jog

Vijay Jog is the Chancellor Professor Emeritus at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University and a leading authority in corporate finance and performance. He is a chemical engineer with an MBA and a Ph.D. in finance from McGill University. His expertise is in the area of corporate performance, corporate governance, taxation and the role of capital markets in financing the enterprises including initial public offerings. He is an active researcher and has received over a $1 million in research grants.

He is the author of textbooks, has published numerous articles in international journals and has won many national and international awards for his research and publications. He has also been awarded research achievement awards by Carleton and Professor of the Year awards by Sprott students. He was recently recognised as “Leaders in Management Education” in Canada by National Post and described as “Mr. Value Added” by Ottawa Citizen.

Vijay Jog was also the founder of Corporate Renaissance Group Inc. (www.crgroup.com), consulting extensively for many government departments, crown corporations, and private sector firms in Canada, U.S., Caribbean, Europe and South Africa. He is a frequently sought after speaker and a session leader at many executive development seminars and annual gatherings/meeting organised by some of the leading professional organisations and companies.
