Silvia is a PhD Candidate at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. Her research interests lie in the area of Behavioral Finance as it refers to stock markets. She is currently focused on examining investment rebalancing, its effects on investment returns, and its behavioral effects on investment managers and investors.
Prior to her doctoral studies, she had industry experience at trading desks at a hedge fund and two investment banks.
