Focus is on Corporate Governance and voluntary disclosure, which is mainly focusing on the extent of voluntary disclosure contained within the annual reports of the listed companies at the Stock Exchange as dictated by corporate governance attributes (board size, board compensation, number of board meetings held, number of non–executive directors, existence of audit committee, foreign ownership levels, government ownership levels, block-holder ownership levels, number of shareholders, number of employees) whilst concurrently considering Heritage Foundation’s Index of Economic Freedom.
