Jinsun Bae’s research and teaching interests focus on the topic of responsible business in global supply chains. Her research looks at labor practices at the supplier level, managing corporate social responsibility (CSR) in developing countries, and labor management of Asian multinational companies. Jinsun intends to bring her research-based learnings into the classroom and plans to offer international human resource management and social sustainability (focusing on labor aspects of CSR) courses. Before joining Sprott, she was a postdoctoral associate with the “New Conversations Project: Sustainable labor practices in global supply chains” at the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University, USA. She received her PhD in Business Economics and Management from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark with her dissertation focusing on CSR perceptions and practices in Myanmar’s garment industry.
