Djuna Penn
PMBA Coach
Djuna Penn is an accredited professional-level coach who has worked as a leader and trusted advisor in the public, for-profit, and non-profit sectors for more than 30 years. Her primary focus has been in the IT, public works, and health care spaces.
In addition to her work in strategic communications and change management, she has a significant background in leadership development. Djuna has worked with many leaders at all levels on a variety of topics including:
- Career Advancement: Helping individuals actively manage their careers by clarifying areas of passion and finding or creating opportunities to gain the required skills and experience.
- Growing Leaders: Training leaders on key skills (e.g., coaching, holding difficult conversations, and managing change); coaching leaders on directly applying new skills, tackling current challenges, and gaining personal insights.
- Strategic Advising: Coaching leaders on developing staff to advance on the leadership track. Partnering with leaders to understand and resolve issues at the team, client-service provider, and organizational levels.
Djuna has an Honours degree First Class Standing in Psychology from the University of Alberta, and a Master’s degree in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University. She is trained at the professional level by ICF-accredited Integral Coaching Canada. Known for her compassion and her deep commitment to learning, clients can expect direct conversation with a dose of humour, focused on their clearly-articulated objectives.
