Bill Lawson

Bill Lawson joined the Carleton faculty in 1975. He has also held faculty positions at Concordia University, the University of Waterloo and York University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Sprott School of Business and teaches a course in Portfolio Management. At the time of his retirement in 2006, Bill was the Associate Director (Administration) and the Director of Professional Programs at Sprott.
Bill has been a member of the Carleton University Pension Committee for over 20 years and remains active in this role today. He serves on the finance committees of two non-profit organizations in Ottawa and he is involved with a number of private investment companies.
He holds a Ph.D in Finance from York University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
