Ahmad Teymouri

Dr. Ahmad Teymouri is a professor and program coordinator of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) program at Algonquin College School of Business. He has also served as a part-time professor at Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and Contract Instructor at Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. He has taught project management, operation management, six sigma, and business statistics courses since 2016.

Ahmad received his Ph.D. in Digital Transformation and Innovation from the University of Ottawa in 2020. His doctoral studies focused on modeling capacity allocation of supply chains using revenue management techniques. He investigated the impact of eCommerce parcels on demand forecasting and capacity allocation of postal operation and service delivery.

Ahmad also received his M.A.Sc. in Project Management from the University of Ottawa in 2014, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operation Management from Tehran University in 2008, and M.Sc. in Management Information System from Industrial Management Institute (IMI) in 2007. His master’s studies focused on project audit models, project excellence models, project managers competency frameworks, and the application of knowledge management in project management. He specifically investigated Oil and Gas construction, R&D, and IT projects. Ahmad completed his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering back in 2000.

Ahmad’s research interests span Operation Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management using big data analysis, mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques.

Ahmad also has his hands-on industry with over 15 years of work experience in car manufacturing (Mazda 2000–2005), oil and gas construction projects (2005–2010), and postal service (2014–2019). Ahmad holds the following certificates: Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), Project Excellence Model (PEM), Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3), and Six-Sigma Green Belt
