Sprott Serves: Letter Writing with Sending Sunshine

Sprott alumni, students and community members are invited to join us for a morning of giving back to the community by writing letters to seniors across Canada! Sending Sunshine, co-founded by Sprott alumna Marissa Parker (BIB/21), is an not-for-profit organization that aims to connect seniors living in Canada with people from around the globe through the power of the written word, while promoting volunteerism.

Sprott will provide materials, just bring your kind words and creativity! Cards may be hand-crafted or premade. Sending Sunshine also provides examples and guidelines on their website.

At this event, we will be accepting donations for the Carleton Unified Support Centre (USC) Food Services and the Ottawa Food Bank.
