Brown Bag Series A Guide to Becoming an Academic Reviewer

Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

  • In-person event

Participating in the peer review process is an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills. Reviewing is a time-intensive process, but at the same time, it is a rewarding experience to contribute to the scholarly publication system.

As novice researchers, you might be wondering how to get started with the peer review? How do you provide polite and candid feedback to the author? How does your role as a reviewer help you with career progression?

To demystify the process of becoming a good reviewer, Dr. Nicolas Papadopoulos, Distinguished Research Professor, International Business, Sprott School of Business, will share his extensive experience and insights as a reviewer.

The brown bag session counts toward Sprott research seminar participation.
