An experiential work environment in which students interact with real clients as business analysts. Various types of projects are possible depending on the client and their goals/needs. Clients may be internal (i.e. Ravens, Carleton, Sprott), or external (i.e. not for profit, for profit, start-ups, entrepreneurs). In collaboration with a student consultant also registered in the program, analysts work in a team to contribute to the client mandate by finding and collating data, conceiving solutions, identifying opportunities, writing reports, and preparing top quality presentations, all while honing your business, management, and leadership skills.
Registration in this section of BUSI 3800 requires departmental permission, Third Year Standing, and a 6.50 CGPA. Please attempt to register in the course and submit a Registration Override Request on Carleton Central to request permission.
