The Sprott School of Business Joins the Global Business School Network to Tackle Societal Challenges

The Sprott School of Business at Carleton University has joined the Global Business School Network (GBSN), an alliance of business schools from around the globe working together to address societal challenges.

“The Sprott School of Business is honoured to be invited to join GBSN, with a shared vision to harness the opportunities of business education in creating a positive, global impact,” said Howard Nemiroff, dean of Carleton’s Sprott School of Business.

“We look forward to working with our GBSN partners in supporting strong experiential learning opportunities for students, impactful research collaborations for faculty, and capacity-building initiatives across our schools and communities.”

This partnership allows Sprott to build upon its foundation of experiential learning, creating opportunities for new collaborative and international learning experiences. In addition, Sprott students will have access to unique educational opportunities and build their networks through GBSN competitions, experiential programs and fellowships.

Founded in 2003 by the World Bank, GBSN is a nonprofit organization that empowers business schools worldwide to work together to strengthen the contributions of management education to the development needs of society. Invited by GBSN to participate in the mission, 150+ member institutions in 60+ countries are working together to drive societal impact.
