Carleton’s Sprott School of Business and SCMAO Partner to Deliver a Fast Track to Professional Excellence in Supply Chain Management

Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business and the Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) have signed an agreement that will provide a faster pathway to the Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation.

“We are proud to partner with SCMAO to provide Sprott graduates with an efficient pathway to attain the CSCMP designation,” said Rebecca Renfroe, Associate Dean, Student Success and Recruitment, Undergraduate Programs at the Sprott School of Business.

“This agreement demonstrates our shared commitment to preparing students for professional excellence through high quality and career relevant education.”

Graduates of Sprott’s Bachelor of Commerce program with a concentration or stream in Supply Chain Management will be eligible for exemptions from CSCMP program components, allowing them to fast track to the designation.

“At SCMAO, our brand promise is to be Canada’s largest community of supply chain professionals, committed to supply chain excellence,” said Himani Dureja, VP of Education and Corporate Engagement, SCMAO.

“The supply chain profession has never been more vital to the progress of the Canadian economy and as the profession continues to be in the spotlight, we are on a steadfast path to deliver on our purpose: to promote awareness of the important role of supply chain management, as well to professionalize the industry through the CSCMP designation.”
