Sprott MBA students recognized for excellence and their contributions to the program

Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business is proud to announce the recipients of the 2021 MBA Awards. Launched this academic year, these awards honour the excellence of Sprott MBA students and recognize their contributions to the MBA program.

“The Sprott MBA has a proud tradition of excellence. With our move into the Nicol Building, we felt it was time to start recognizing the contributions of outstanding students who are making a difference in the learning experience of their peers,” said Robin Ritchie, associate dean of professional graduate programs at the Sprott School of Business.

“Congratulations to all the students. As the inaugural winners, this group occupies a special place in an important new tradition. We look forward to the many great things they’ll accomplish as they take their talents out into the world.”

She has been credited her as being the foundation of the MBA Society’s successes over the past year, and as being “unprecedented in her reliability.” Olivia set the bar so high with her involvement and commitment that the MBA Society decided to split her responsibilities between two separate positions, upon the completion of her term.

The idea for the Sprott MBA Awards originated from the Sprott MBA Society, and one of her nominators explained that she was the inspiration for them. “I believe that if everyone were like her, Sprott’s MBA program would be at the top of every school ranking and I cannot imagine a more deserving person.”
