The Sprott School of Business at Carleton University is pleased to announce that McCay Duff LLP has committed to five years of funding to establish a scholarship for undergraduate accounting students.

“McCay Duff is proud to partner with the Sprott School of Business to support student excellence in the co-op program through the creation of our new scholarship,” said Jason Howarth, Managing Partner at McCay Duff LLP.  “McCay Duff has been a longstanding participant in the Sprott co-op program having had many of our co-op hires go on to have exceptional careers with our firm. We look forward to further supporting this tradition of excellence with the annual award of the McCay Duff Scholarship.”

Valued at $1,000, the McCay Duff LLP Co-operative Accounting Scholarship will be awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate Sprott student entering their third year in a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in accounting. Students who are eligible to apply must be enrolled in the co-op stream of the program.

“We thank McCay Duff LLP for their generosity in establishing the McCay Duff LLP Co-operative Accounting Scholarship supporting student excellence,” said Howard Nemiroff, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Sprott School of Business. “This is a great opportunity for accounting students to obtain additional support as they work towards successfully completing their Bachelor of Commerce degree.”
