Congratulations to Sprott alumni who passed the CPA Accreditation Exam
Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) recognized 1,011 candidates who successfully passed the Common Final Examination (CFE). Among the successful CFE writers are 30 Sprott graduates from the Bachelor of Commerce program and Master of Accounting program. Notably among the successful writers is BCom graduate Ranya Tantawy (BCom/15), who earned a coveted place on the CFE National Honour Roll as one of the top 50 candidates in the country.
Successful candidates will celebrate this milestone at the CPA 2017 Annual Convocation, held in Toronto this Saturday, March 11.
Written over three days in September, the CFE assesses competencies including essential knowledge, professional judgment, ethics and the ability to communicate. The examination is an important component of the new CPA qualification program. Completion of the CFE earns candidates the internationally recognized designation of Chartered Professional Accountant, a profession known for financial expertise, strategic thinking, business insight and leadership.
Congratulations to the successful Sprott alumni and all successful CFE writers.
