Shannon Butler receives Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award
Shannon Butler, Sprott accounting professor, has been recognized for teaching excellence by Carleton Unveristy’s Office of the Provost and Office of the Vice-President (Teaching and Learning).
Shannon is the 2016 recipient of the Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award for her innovative use of technology in the classroom. She will be awarded $750.
Other Carleton faculty who were recognized this year for teaching excellence are:
- History’s David Dean and Shawn Graham, Provost Fellowship in Teaching Award;
- Michael Hildebrand (Neuroscience), Erik Stephenson (Humanities) and Rodney Nelson (Centre for Initiatives in Education), New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award; and
- Claudia Buttera (Biology), Excellence in Learning Support Award.
