Sprott’s BCom Management concentration recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has renewed its recognition of Sprott’s Bachelor of Commerce Management concentration for its alignment to SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.

The acknowledgement from SHRM reinforces the value of the Management concentration providing students with skills and knowledge that are relevant and valuable in the human resources (HR) profession.

Based in the United States, SHRM is the world’s largest organization for professionals and managers in human resources, representing over 275,000 members in more than 160 countries. SHRM provides information and resources to support HR management professionals, as well as training to prepare professionals to write internationally-recognized certification exams, such as the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).

SHRM and AACSB International, an international accrediting body for business degree programs worldwide, formed an alliance to ensure consistency and quality of HR management curriculum in business degree programs. SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates are based on extensive research involving HR practitioners and educators.
