Professor Isaac Otchere receives Graduate Mentoring Award
Sprott professor Isaac Otchere has received a Graduate Mentoring Award by Carleton’s Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs and the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International).
The awards recognize faculty for outstanding support given to graduate students as supervisors and research mentors.
“Professor Otchere is a mentor extraordinaire who puts the success of his students at the top of his priorities and enthusiastically leverages his expertise to help them grow,” said Erin Oldford, a Sprott PhD in Management candidate who nominated him for the award.

“Any meeting with Professor Otchere leads to professional and personal advancement,” she said.
Isaac is a professor of finance and is an expert in valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and privatization. Isaac has extensive international experience, having taught MBA courses at Universities in Canada, Australia, Singapore and Ukraine.
Past Graduate Mentoring Award winners from Sprott include: Linda Duxbury, Nicolas Papadopoulos, Lorraine Dyke, Uma Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Roland Thomas and Louise A. Heslop.
