Eric Sprott and Wes Nicol appointed to the Order of Canada

The Sprott School of Business congratulates Eric Sprott, BCom/65, and Wes Nicol, who were recently appointed to the Order of Canada, one of the country’s highest civilian honours.

Alumnus Eric Sprott has been appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for his contributions as a philanthropist, notably in the areas of health care, education and international development.

Carleton alumnus Wes Nicol, BA/54, has been appointed a Member of the Order of Canada for his commitment to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Established in 1967, the Order of Canada recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation.
