The Sprott School of Business has opened a number of business courses in the 2014/15 Fall and Winter terms to all Carleton undergraduate students. Students enrolled in degree programs outside of business can take courses from a number of core business areas that include accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, marketing and business information and communication technologies.
Please refer to the academic calendar for course descriptions. All courses listed are 0.5 credit.
The Minor in Business is designed for students in non-business degree programs who wish to study core business concepts. Students in the program will take courses in accounting, finance, international business, marketing and information systems.
The Minor in Entrepreneurship will give you an understanding of the entrepreneurial process as well as develop the critical skills and expertise required for careers in entrepreneurship, business development and small business management. Hands-on learning is emphasized and you’ll have the opportunity to design and create your own business through the senior practicum courses.
