SONA Research Management
Researchers often encounter challenges in data collection and accessing qualified participants. The Sprott participant pool offers a solution to overcome these obstacles.
The Sprott pool consists primarily of 2nd-year students, enrolled in BUSI 2208 or BUSI 2204. Students from all our concentrations are enrolled in these core marketing courses, which provides a diverse sample group. The pool offers the opportunity to gather data through surveys, focus groups, or interviews from over 300 students. If you utilize the Qualtrics survey software, it can be easily integrated with the SONA system.
Note: The data in the SONA system resides on a Canadian server.
All faculty members and research graduate students are welcome to access our participant pool. If students or young persons are a suitable sample group for your research, we encourage you to take advantage of this resource. For the consent form specifically designed for use on the SONA system, please visit the Research Ethics Board’s website at: https://carleton.ca/researchethics/templates/
