Sefa Hayibor
Sefa Hayibor is an Associate Professor in the Sprott School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Environment, Ethics, and Public Policy from the University of Pittsburgh, and MBA (Policy Analysis) and BBA (Finance, Marketing) degrees from Simon Fraser University. Prior to arriving at Sprott, Sefa taught courses such as Business Ethics, Business and Society, Strategic Management, and Organizational Behaviour at various universities in Canada and the United States (Saint Mary’s University, University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and Chatham University). Sefa’s research interests include stakeholder theory, ethical decision-making, corporate social performance, cognitive heuristics and biases, moral development, values in leadership, and the application of evolutionary psychology to business ethics. His work has appeared in Journal of Business Ethics, Business and Society, and the proceedings of various international conferences.
