Candidates must meet either the online MBA Math course criteria or the GMAT. Meeting either the GMAT or MBA Math criteria is mandatory and will not be waived regardless of cumulative grade point average, years of professional experience, or number of degrees.
Note: Please provide Carleton University with permission to access your official scores by completing the following:
- Go to: www.mbamath.com
- Click “Sign Up” (top right of page)
- Click “Yes, I have an RSVP/promotion code” and enter the code CARMY24TG
- Enter the requested profile and account information
- Click “Join MBA Math”
- Enter payment information and click Complete Registration
- Go to My Account | My Schools and confirm the Allow School Access box is checked for the Carleton 2025 entry

Yes, we will accept the GRE in the place of the GMAT criteria so long as the GRE score is equivalent to the minimum requirement of 550 on the GMAT. Please refer to the following link to assist you in the conversion of GRE test scores. http://www.ets.org/gre/institutions/about/mba/comparison_tool/ .

While we appreciate your background, meeting the MBA Math course or GMAT criteria is a mandatory admission criteria that must be fulfilled in order to be considered for the Sprott Professional MBA program.

There are private companies that assist students with preparing for the GMAT. A good starting point is to refer to www.mba.com for further information.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience, completion of the self-paced online MBA Math course with a minimum of 80% in each module and 80% overall, or a minimum GMAT score of 550 overall or equivalent GRE score. A four-year undergraduate degree, in any discipline, with a cumulative grade point average over all four years of a “B”, or equivalent. Two professional recommendations from current or past superiors are also required. You may also be required to meet the minimum Language Proficiency criteria. If you are shortlisted, you may be invited to participate in a video interview.

To determine if a candidate meets the CGPA requirement, all four years of study and all courses are taken into account when calculating the cumulative grade point average.

The degree can be either in the form of a four-year honors program or a three-year program plus one additional year of study in any discipline at the university-level.
On a case-by-case basis, we may consider those Domestic applicants who possess a three-year degree as long as they possess at least 10 years of progressive, professional experience.

We will only consider a student from India with a three-year undergraduate degree if the degree is from an institution accredited by either AACSB, EQUIS or AMBA. There are no exceptions to the criteria. (Determine if your institution is accredited by AACSB, EQUIS or AMBA.)

A degree in almost any discipline will be considered, provided all other admission requirements are met.

Candidates for the Professional MBA Program must provide two professional recommendations from current or past superiors. Recommendations from colleagues can not be substituted.
