I grew up in a small village in northern Iran and moved to Canada in 2019. My diverse professional background can be summarized in leadership, project management and community engagement. It ranges from working at a bakery, to cofounding a computer services boutique which is still successfully operating after almost twenty years, running English language learning programs at multiple ESL schools and settlement organizations both in Canada and abroad for almost fifteen years, and providing financial services at RBC Royal Bank for almost five years. I am always in pursuit of ways to give back to the community and enjoy enabling fellow newcomers to build their career paths.

Why did you choose the Sprott Professional MBA?

I value adaptability, and I am a lifelong learner. I chose the Sprott PMBA because it aligns with both my career journey and my personal values. Not only will this program help me advance professionally, but more importantly, it will provide a platform for me to connect with and learn from a community of unique perspectives. In my work as a teacher, as a volunteer newcomer settlement aid, and as a financial advisor, I have seen firsthand how education and literacy impact individuals’ lives. I hope that by upskilling myself, I can contribute to such meaningful change at a leadership level. The Sprott MBA’s focus on innovation, leadership, and global thinking gives me the tools to bridge my professional background to my future roles.
