Born and raised in Ottawa, I am an experience Senior Information Security Professional with over a decade of experience in security data analytics and creating robust cybersecurity solutions. I am a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, a Splunk Core Certified Consultant, and I’m great at using various technical tools to help clients design, build, and improve their systems. I’m a seasoned security engineer and leader who knows how to plan deployments and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Why did you choose the Sprott Professional MBA?

I’ve spent most of my career in highly technical, hands-on, engineering type roles and I feel like I’ve gone about as far as I want to in the type of work. Having recently started working at KPMG I looked at some of our leadership and tried to understand what skills they had that I was missing, and how I could quickly add those skills to my resume. The Sprott Professional MBA seemed like the perfect program to gain those skills while also being able to balance my workload.

Fun Fact:

Once I took a vacation to the Chernobyl exclusion zone in Ukraine in the middle of winter and spent two days wandering around towns that were abandoned after being contaminated by radiation in the disaster. Don’t worry, the radiation levels have decreased significantly since then!
