I spent my entire career as a lawyer at the Office of the President of the Philippines, working for the Office of the Executive Secretary (Prime Minister) in both legal and policy capacities. I left the Philippines in 2020 to accompany my wife to Canada as she sought to subspecialize in her practice of medicine. Since coming to Canada, we’ve lived in several cities (Vancouver, London, Edmonton), with Ottawa being the fourth in the last five years. As we were about to go home to Manila in 2025, my wife was offered a staff job at CHEO, while I was presented the opportunity to attend Carleton. These are what bring both of us to Ottawa, where we plan to be for the next 16 months.

Why did you choose the Sprott Professional MBA?

A few reasons, but the biggest to me was that Sprott offered in-person classes others had online-only programs. I prefer learning in a classroom and around other individuals.
