Giacomo Carlini

Sprott Social Impact Hub Advisor
My name is Giacomo Carlini, I’m 35, and I come from a small town in northwestern Italy. Today I work with Soleterre, focusing on international fundraising and building partnerships with global foundations. What drives me is the chance to support a mission I deeply believe in: defending children’s right to health, especially in war-affected areas.
Before joining Soleterre, I worked with Italian NGOs in Africa and Asia. Those years taught me resilience, humility, and the power of human connection: lessons that continue to guide me every day.
For a long time, though, my life was shaped by another calling: photography. Telling stories through images trained my eye to notice details, emotions, and the dignity of people in every circumstance. That perspective still influences how I approach my work in fundraising: every project is not just about numbers or grants, but about real lives and real stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
