My diverse industry experience has shaped my business expertise. In hospitality, I gained operational skills through sales forecasting, developing profitable event packages, and implementing communication systems for large-scale events. I’ve designed hiring processes and delivered training programs across hospitality, aviation, and government sectors.

Transitioning to federal financial management, I developed expertise in fiscal operations and enterprise systems, managing fiscal cycles and serving as the point of contact for over 1,000 employees on year-end procedures.

These experiences enabled me to launch my own pottery business, where I’ve applied my knowledge to create pricing structures, assess costs, and gain firsthand entrepreneurial experience.

Why did you choose the Sprott Professional MBA?

I view the MBA as an opportunity to build on my strengths and develop new skills that will allow me to have a greater impact within my workplace and my community. I aspire to be a responsible leader and set an example with my ethical decision-making, compassion, and desire for innovation.

After evaluating the financial and time investment requirements to obtain my MBA, as well as pre-emptively evaluating how to successfully include this education within my schedule, I believe that the Sprott’s Professional MBA program is the correct fit to help me gain professional advancement and achieve my goals.

As a motivated extrovert, I find the prospect of learning new skills in a physical classroom exciting. In-person classes not only align with my preferred learning style but also allow me to fully connect and gain insights from the experiences and perspectives of my professors and fellow classmates. With the Professional MBA format enabling working professionals to continue their employment during their studies, I plan on utilizing the skills I develop in real-time by implementing them into my current role.

I love a good arts and crafts project. I arrange craft nights with friends and one of my greatest passions is making pottery.
