Club/Leadership Awards (5):

1. Club of the Year

Recognizes the club that made the biggest impact on the Sprott community through events, engagement, and overall execution. This award recognizes the subsidiary club that has demonstrated exceptional leadership, engagement, and impact within the Sprott community. It is awarded to a club that has fostered a positive, inclusive environment, shown creativity in organizing impactful events, and contributes meaningfully to the development and success of the broader Sprott community. The club should exemplify the values of collaboration, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

2. Event of the Year

Recognizes the club that hosted the most successful or memorable event of the year. This award celebrates a club that has demonstrated excellence in planning and executing an event that brought meaningful value to the Sprott community. The event should reflect strong organization, creativity, and student engagement while contributing to professional development, networking, or community building. This award highlights an event that left a lasting impression on attendees and showcased the club’s ability to deliver high-quality programming for Sprott students.

3. Best New Initiative

This award recognizes the subsidiary club that has demonstrated exceptional leadership, engagement, and impact within the Sprott community. It is awarded to a club that has fostered a positive, inclusive environment, shown creativity in organizing impactful events, and contributes meaningfully to the development and success of the broader Sprott community. The club should exemplify the values of collaboration, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

4. Club Leader of the Year

Recognizes an exceptional club president or executive who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication throughout the academic year. This award honours a student leader who has gone above and beyond in guiding their club, supporting their team, and creating valuable opportunities for members and the broader Sprott community. The recipient should exemplify strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills while demonstrating a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive club environment.

5. Club Collaboration Award

Recognizes two or more clubs that partnered together to deliver an outstanding event or initiative for the Sprott community. This award celebrates collaboration, teamwork, and the ability to combine resources and ideas to create something greater than what could be achieved individually. The winning clubs should demonstrate strong coordination, shared leadership, and a commitment to fostering connections across the Sprott club ecosystem. The collaboration should result in an initiative that enhances engagement, strengthens the student community, and reflects the values of partnership and collective impact.

General Community Awards (6):

6. Student Leader of the Year

Honours a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and influence across the Sprott community. This award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution through their involvement in student organizations, initiatives, or community-building efforts. The recipient should exemplify dedication, initiative, and a strong commitment to supporting their peers while positively shaping the student experience at Sprott. This award celebrates a student who leads by example and inspires others through their passion, professionalism, and impact.

7. Woman in Business Impact Award

Recognizes a female student who has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and meaningful impact within the Sprott community. This award celebrates a student who embodies the values of leadership, empowerment, and professional excellence while contributing to the advancement of women in business. The recipient should demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting others, fostering inclusivity, and creating opportunities that uplift fellow students. This award highlights a student who serves as a role model and inspires others through her achievements, leadership, and dedication to the Sprott community.

8. Community Impact Award

Recognizes a student who has made a meaningful difference through volunteering, outreach, or community engagement. This award celebrates individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to giving back and creating positive change both within and beyond the Sprott community. The recipient should exemplify compassion, leadership, and initiative in supporting charitable initiatives, community organizations, or social causes. This award highlights the importance of responsible leadership and the impact students can make by contributing to the well-being of others.

9. School Spirit Award / Sprott Love Award

Recognizes a student who consistently demonstrates pride, enthusiasm, and support for the Sprott community. This award celebrates an individual who actively participates in events, encourages others to get involved, and helps foster a welcoming and vibrant student environment. The recipient should be someone who brings energy and positivity to the Sprott experience, contributing to a strong sense of community and school pride among their peers.

10. Rising Star Award – First Year & Second Year

Recognizes two students – one first-year and one second-year – who have already made a significant impact within the Sprott community early in their academic journey. This award celebrates students who demonstrate initiative, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to getting involved in clubs, events, or student initiatives. The recipients should exemplify enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to contribute to the growth and success of the Sprott community, while showing strong potential to become future leaders within the school.
