Area of Research: Climate Change, Management and Strategy
My area of research examines how corporate governance and climate-related disclosures influence environmental performance and organizational transparency. I focus on sustainability frameworks such as ESG reporting and carbon disclosures, investigating their impact on corporate behaviour, including issues like greenwashing. I also explore the role of gender equality in governance, particularly how diverse boards enhance sustainability outcomes and climate-related disclosures.
I continue to lead sustainability initiatives at Carleton University, guiding the implementation of the university’s strategic sustainability plan. My day to day work focuses on advancing key programs aimed at achieving a carbon-neutral campus and solidifying Carleton’s position as a leader in environmental stewardship.
