Led by Nusa Fain, and in partnership with Prosfata, this project will explore the role of AI in reducing gender bias in mentorship programs for women in technology. It will assess whether AI-driven systems can create more objective, equitable mentor-mentee pairings by mitigating human biases that hinder career advancement for women and other equity-seeking groups. The project will evaluate Prosfata’s AI-powered mentorship platform, refine its bias-mitigation features, and test its effectiveness compared to traditional mentorship models. Through this research, we aim to uncover valuable insights into using AI to create more inclusive and equitable mentorship opportunities in tech.
