Francois Brouard’s research on the Trajectories and Identities of Professional Accountants looks at career patterns of professional accountants, examining dimensions of both their professional and personal lives. By looking at the professional and personal trajectories of Chartered Professional Accountants with over 15 years of experience, François and his co-researchers will examine the turning points in an individual’s life. The findings from this research will help younger generations in their career choices, assist in the recruitment of candidates to accounting firms, and offer accounting associations a better understanding of the evolving careers of their members.
