Sprott students awarded EDC International Business Scholarships
Export Development Canada (EDC) has awarded two Bachelor of International Business students with EDC’s 2014 International Business Scholarship, valued at $4,000. Mackenzie Chapman and Sophie Paradis were selected from over 300 students at 71 universities and colleges across Canada.
They are among 30 recipients of the scholarship, who were chosen based on their academic achievement, international experience, professional work experience, demonstrated leadership, languages written and spoken, among other criteria. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program at a Canadian university or college and pursuing studies in international business or business combined with environmental or sustainability studies.
EDC has recognized 24 Sprott students with the International Business Scholarship since the inception of the award in 2000. More information about the award can be found on the EDC website.
